Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Inspired For Yoga. The most important part is simple: this is exercise information, not medical advice, and you are responsible for how you practice. Last updated October 2026.

Quick take

  • The routines and guides are general educational information, not medical or therapeutic advice.
  • Yoga is physical exercise and carries a risk of injury. You practice at your own risk and within your own limits.
  • You can share links freely, but please don't copy our pages wholesale.

About these terms

By using Inspired For Yoga ("the site"), you agree to these terms. "We" and "us" are the people who run the site, and "you" is anyone using it. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data.

Educational information, not medical advice

Everything on the site, including routines, pose cues, timings, modifications and answers to questions, is general information for healthy adults. It is not written for your individual body, health history or fitness level, and it is not a diagnosis, treatment plan or substitute for advice from a doctor, physical therapist or other qualified professional.

Check with a professional before you start or change an exercise program, particularly if you are pregnant or recently gave birth, are recovering from injury or surgery, have a heart or lung condition, high or low blood pressure, glaucoma, osteoporosis, joint replacements, or any condition that affects movement or balance. Do not delay or ignore medical advice because of something you read here.

Your practice, your responsibility

Yoga involves stretching, bearing weight on your hands and joints, balancing and changing position between standing, kneeling and lying down. Like any exercise, this carries a risk of strains, sprains, falls and other injury. By following any routine or pose on the site, you accept that risk.

You are responsible for:

  • choosing routines and variations that suit your current ability;
  • stopping straight away if you feel sharp pain, numbness, tingling, dizziness, shortness of breath or chest discomfort, and seeking help if it continues;
  • practicing in a safe space, on a non-slip surface, clear of furniture and hazards;
  • using props such as chairs, walls and blocks so they are stable and secure.

Timers, step counts and suggested durations are guides only. Shorten a hold, skip a pose or end a session whenever your body tells you to.

Accuracy and changes to content

We work to keep the information correct and current, and we fix errors when we find them. We cannot promise the site is complete, error-free or right for your circumstances. We may change, add or remove pages, routines or features at any time without notice.

The text, routines, structure and design of the site belong to us or to the people who license them to us, and are protected by copyright. Photos come from Pexels and remain subject to their own license; see Photo credits.

You may read, print and save pages for your own personal, non-commercial practice, and you are welcome to share links. You may not republish, sell, or copy substantial parts of the site into another website, app, course or product without our written permission. Short quotes with a clear link back are fine.

Please use the site lawfully. Don't try to disrupt it, break its security, or scrape it in bulk.

Some pages link to outside sources, such as public health bodies. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the site or from practicing any routine, pose or technique described on it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law forbids excluding it.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the site's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Questions about these terms can go to hello@inspiredforyoga.com or through the contact page.
